Early start..,we picked up a Toyota pick up truck taxi for a speedy journey across the island where we met Sergio, our park guide for the day. Altogether ten folks were on a magnificent journey aboard a small but might motor boat. We visited Daphne major, Daphne minor, a pristine white sugar sand beach, where the sea turtles had laid their eggs, and marine iguanas reigned supreme in the bush. Several places Sergio had Captain drop us off for snorkelling in the most obscure places. Sea lions, sharks, multitudes of colourful fish, and lovely turtles and rays were spotted. Onboard I captured hours of bird videos; frigates, two types of boobies, gulls, terns, herons and the elusive, gorgeous tropical bird. Altogether a perfect touring day. At 16:30 the taxi brought us back to town, we meandered through the shops, had some happy hour drinks, then taxied back to the boat for an Asian veggie stir fry and toasts. Another Sweet Dream day in Galapagos.
