Timshel - Salvador to Cabadelo TUES 26 Feb

Still plodding north. We have had some wind but it comes and goes. After all the downwind sailing around the world you forget how long it takes when you have to tack back and fore against the wind. We have been trying to keep at least 30nm offshore, as soon as you get within soundings you find loads of small fishing boats, not sure what gear they have out. they do not have AIS but are quite brightly lit. Of course there may be others that are not lit that we do not see so best to stay out of the way.
