Today we had signed up for a boat cruise with lunch included. One thing about SA, you always get more than your money’s worth! We had a fabulous boat cruise with lots of entertaining hippos, a crocodile, and perfect weather. Then we did the Elton John thing called the crocodile walk...then a jeep safari where we were bedazzled by zebras, kudus, impalas, red dikkers, nyalas, water buffalo, white rhinos, and even an Aussie Bear! Lunch was at a campground, dodging monkeys, eating flame grilled “steak”( it was delicious!), baked beans, bread, fizzy fruit drinks and utterly delightful to all of us crunchy-green-thing deprived sailors; iceberg lettuce salad with cubes and tomatoes. We arrived back at the boat at 18:00, tired and happy.
