Ocean Sailing Forum, October 6 in Annapolis MD

Ocean Sailing Forum, October 6 Annapolis MD
August 8, 2012

The second Ocean Sailing Forum will take place in Annapolis MD on the Saturday of the US Sailboat Show, October 6.

If you are thinking of making a bluewater passage, planning to join the Caribbean 1500 or just daydreaming of setting sail, you should join us!  The Forum is a panel discussion, sharing the expertise of experienced cruisers and industry experts.  Topics will include all aspects of preparing for and undertaking a bluwater passage.  Wondering about which anchor to buy, how to keep children amused at sea, when to set sail or whether a spinnaker is right for you?  Ask our panel.

The Forum costs $17 per person, and you'll need to register in advance as space is strictly limited.  We sold out last year, so don't leave it too late!  Registration can be made online through http://conta.cc/O4fOLN or by calling our Annapolis office on (757) 788-8872

When: Saturday October 6, 2012 from 8am to 11am

Comments from delegates at the 2011 Ocean Sailing Forum in Annapolis:

"The forum was an very good value for the money, it refreshed many of the topics from past forums and reinforced our current understanding on projects/procedures we have installed in our offshore sailing routines."

"Great presentations!  You packed in more info and topics than I expected. Good job."

"Excellent forum, good (continental) breakfast, AND a $17 ticket to the Sailboat Show... for $17."

"The comraderie and safety in numbers and experience in your group is great. People with a little less experience than us would enjoy it more, I'm glad we experienced it though, nice people. Enjoyed some of the discussion of people's different thoughts"
