Good day all
So here we are on Friday, looking forward to the weekend after a hard week
at the wheel steering Chilli Chilli down the big waves and ever onwards towards
St Lucia.
Bag of a fag packet calculations have us getting to Rodney Bay sometime on
Wednesday but anything could happen between now and then.
It has been noted that the Chilli Chilli daily blogs have no information
about the sailing, seas, position or sail configurations. This has been done
deliberately as it was felt that most blogs contained all this information so
you read one, you have read them all. Instead we give you a brief insight into
other nonsense like Ladies Night.
For some reason we seem to have had a bit of a change around with the
sleeping accommodation onboard Chilli, not sure why. I seem to have moved
to one of the stern suites, Heston has gone to the washing machine room (bow
cabin) and Charlie the Cabin boy has moved into the saloon. One assumes that
this is so he is nearer the galley, fridge, food cupboards for when the rest of
us require sustenance. He is very aware that a prompt service for our
needs will result in a favourable report back to his House Master when he
returns to school.
Disaster on the side deck this afternoon. Whilst Henry was grumbling about
the sun being too hot (go figure!) and anointing his Adonis like body with
suntan cream, his prize floppy sunhat blew over the side! Much silent sniggering
from the rest of the crew as he ranted about the injustices of child poverty,
slave labour and the loss of his hat.
All from me, hope you all have a great weekend, we
will!
