Triple D of Chidham - A VERY GENTLE DAY!

Its just coming to the end of a lovely day here in the Atlantic. Admittedly, we would have liked a little bit more wind, as we watched it gradually drop away to literally nothing. We got a good few hours out of the parasailor before this though, and as the wind began to die we tried out every combination of sail but they would not fill. After we'd had enough of drifting and sunbathing we put the engine on and motored away in traditional Triple D style!
We're still living off fresh food, so a salad full of goodies for lunch - avocado, cheese, chorizo, peppers... and roast pork with apple and rostis AND stirfried veg for dinner!! All the meat we have is vacuum packed so it lasts longer - hopefully we should be able to  eat (relatively) fresh food until our third week.
We were able to have a little chat over the vhf with Stella, an Arc boat near us - we get very excited to hear other voices! We keep hearing Stella talk to our friends, Let it Be, but as of yet have not managed to reach Let it Be on the radio. Jilli keeps trying and we think she may be starting to annoy everyone else around us with the constant 'Let it Be, Let it Be, this is Triple D, Triple D' .... but I think its hard to over-estimate the excitement in a new voice when you haven't been stuck with just two other people in a small space for a while! Not that we're fed up (yet) and have had no arguments (as of yet!).
The moon rose late tonight but its now lighting up the water behind us. No other lights to be seen tonight.
Oh, and our tracker doesn't seem to be working quite properly - it only takes our position as 0600 whereas the other boats have theirs at 1200! So if we're looking way behind, that may be why!
Here's hoping for another lovely day with slightly more wind tomorrow.
Standing by.... Triple D
