After the start that was quite fun we are now getting settled in our watch schedule once more. It seems we are adjusting much easier than on the stretch from Casablanca to Las Palmas - the sea is also much calmer.
Appologies to the english sloop (number withheld of obvious legal reasons) that lost their fishing gear by us doing some luffing behind their tail. Unfortunately for them their line and gear stuck at our keel - but
fortunately fornus we got it cleared up. At St Lucia we shall be happy to return the gear with some beers - tonight
we can do nothing more than enjoy the appr. 16 kilo Dorado we caught ... :-)
Sailing has been easy - gennaker as the only sail has proved an advantage for us - easy trimming and speed was maintained all during the night. We shall see how the picture developes as everybody turns near Cap Verde - but
right now we are doing allright and having an extremely comfortable ride.
