Shania - Day 3.12.2009 .... white and blake stories ...

SY SHANIA ... Jack Sparrow and Crew

.. on the 01.12.2009 Jack Sparrow had a real bad day ...

After set up the Genaker ... it's during only 5 minutes and the portside clew breaks
completely out ... in wind conditions from 14 - 15 knotes ...


.. on the 02.12.2009 the crew sighted a whale on starbord side and after some hours was the whale still close to SY SHANIA ... she/he was looking to us like a family ...

It was a Mink-Whale with approximately 7 - 8 m and she/he following us during at least 2 - 3 hours ...
We could watch them and take also some nice images .... ( we try to send one to the ARC webside ...)


well i think ...

one Genaker is gone .... BUT
one Mink-Whale was come ... and spend a lot of freedom and peace ...


Finally a great sailing at the Atlantic Ocean ...

.. on board everyone is fine and looking forward to our arrival at St. Lucia ...
