Hi,
This is a message from Ed The Iguana. I’m the
plastic Iguana that Nick of the ARC-office gave to the crew of A Small Nest to
cross the Ocean. At least, people think I’m a plastic Iguana, but
that’s not true: have you ever heard of a plastic Iguana writing a log?
It’s my 10th crossing of an ocean with the
ARC now, and I’m happy for the crew of A Small Nest, because now they
finally have an experienced ocean sailor on board. Boy, are they lucky with me!
The first two days were pretty rough and the crew had to
find their sealegs. Of course, I didn’t have any problems finding
my sealegs, so I was able to play with the kids Sepke, Ward & Flor while
the parents were changing watches every 3 hours.
The skipper is a real pain in the tail. I keep asking
him to go faster but he wants to take it easy. He got upset when I asked
to go faster for the 10th time, and now he makes me drink 1,5 liters water a day
like the rest of the crew.
Have to go to the toilet now.
Greetings,
Ed the Iguana.
