Friday 19th June
Well what a change now we have reached Lisbon. As soon as we came into
this enourmous river the temperature shot up at least 15 degrees. So now
we are blessed with hot sunshine and plenty of flies! Went to see Lisbon
town today and walked upto the St George Castle. Its never been
conquered since it was built trillions of years ago. I'm not surprised
it's a long way up.
Tomorrow we are off to Sines which is the last stop before Lagos. Not
much wind predicted so lots of motoring. Ah well cant have it all ways.
The previous legs blew us all the way down the portuguese coast.
