No more Bananas!

Another busy day of chasing down boars. We have passed a Cat and Ketch. Loving slowly reeling in boats that we find, but not sure who they are at the moment as the AIS wont talk to the plotter. Its still transmitting but cant see the other boats on screen. Having spent several hours down the Lazarete locker and tinking with cables I have narrowedit down to 2 possible cables. So rather than spoil all the fun I am leaving that one for tomorrow now.

There is a weather system off to Starboard which looks exciting or very dull depending on which bit we were to locate so deciding to miss both and follow south west hopefully for steady sailing with consistant kite sailing.  It was up all last night using the moon and stars to sail on thought the night.

This morning we had banana and honey pancakes for breakfast. No more bananas left now so more oranges, limes and apples to stave off scurvy!

Sadly jack burnt his finger on the red nav table bulb last night so came up with the overly sensible plan of changing it for an LED one he had seen laying in the spares earlier in the week! not only will his pinky now be safe but we use less power at night!

Further to all these exciting chages and activities we have re instated the aft bunks. Jack has the Starboard one and I the Port. Which means that Darren and Jack now are taking their lives in their hands at night sleeping beneath is!

Oh and last couple of days have spotted several flying fish. Not the Howard's Way yacht variety but they are like fast low flying birds across the water and sound and look a bit like the Golden Snitch from Harry Potter Quidditch matches!

Only 2297NM to go!
