After a great start we had hot conditions with light winds. There was an amazing moonrise on Saturday night, and an equally impressive sunrise Sunday morning.
A seabird of some type landed on our dinghy cover and stayed with us for about 24 hours, then departed. Fishing was attempted, but with no success, other than some seaweed. When faced with very light winds on Sunday afternoon we made the decision to motor for almost 2 hours and the the wind dramatically changed in our favour, and our speed increased to about 8.0 kts. Monday the weather has been very good with no rain, but we started out with rather lumpy seas, which have flattened out as the day progresses. So far (thankfully) we have had not had any significant issues to deal with as we head for Bermuda.
