We found 5-6 knots of wind on the beam which was enough for our North Code 65 to give us 4-5 knots of boat speed! She is a thing of beauty as you can see from the photo below of us sailing today. Beautiful light air sailing in picture perfect conditions. Dan has been moping around because we lost a mahi mahi as we were reeling it in close to the boat. Instead of fish tacos I made a kidney bean curry which hopefully made up for the loss. Looks like we will be back on squall watch the next couple of days as a bunch of them come up from the ITCZ. Saw some more whales in the distance!
