I woke just before 0300 and have been on the go since.
One of those days. Spent some time this morning getting the headsail furling gear sorted, there was a gremlin, which has now been eradicated. Crew hoisted the Zero with minimum input from me.
Planning to drop the clutch and change down a gear to have a breather overnight — to kick up to top gear at first light.
Some chatter on the VHF; fleet sounds chirpy.
Looking forward to getting some zzz myself soon
We seem to have a work around to the fresh water pump issue. Which is great news. Few exploding draws that deposited a tonne of cous cous on the floor.
A simple day with some straight forward sailing would be much appreciated.
