In Wahrheit sind wir kein Segelschiff, sondern professionelle Hochseeangler. Bis dato haben wir einen Lauch, eine Möwe, einen 3kg Fisch, einen 2kg Fisch und eine Plastiktüte an der Angel gehabt.

Heute ist der erste Advent. Zur Feier des Tages gab es zum Frühstück frischen Hefezopf, Pancakes (Palatschinken ) UND von KarlHeinz einen aufblasbaren Adventkranz!

Kulinarische Highlights waren auch wieder einige dabei:

Weisswürste mit Senf, Spaghetti Bolognese, Maultaschen, Putenbraten, Guacamole, Fenchel-Orangensalat, Exotische Obstsalate, Brokkolisuppe und vieles mehr

Zum Glück haben wir nicht nur gute Köche an Board, sondern auch fantastische Handwerker!

Samstagvormittag hat sich ein Bolzen an der Reling hinten gelöst – jetzt haben hoffentlich endlich alle verstanden, dass man sich da besser nicht anlehnen, und schon gar nicht sichern soll.

Samstagmittag haben wir über 30 Liter Wasser aus der Bilge ausgeschöpft. Zählt kopfüber in der Bilge hängen schon als Yoga?

Samstagabend ist uns aufgefallen, dass der Unterliekstrecker beschädigt ist. Der Mantel vom Seil war schon komplett weg, die Seele auch schon leicht angerissen.

Samstagnacht dann das nächste Problem, das Grosssegel lässt sich nicht mehr sauber einrollen und rauscht bei starken Windböen immer wieder aus.

Unsere Skipperin Marina hat sich heute Nacht von ihrer Schokoladenseite gezeigt; wütend schimpfend ist sie mitten in der Nacht raus gestürmt, weil die Segel laut geschlagen habe – da wusste sie noch gar nicht davon, dass wir gerade dabei waren mit dem Grosssegel zu kämpfen.

Zusätzlich ist uns Sonntagvormittag aufgefallen, dass die backbord Schot vom Vorsegel beschädigt ist.

Wir sind eine schwimmende Baustelle – aber es bessert sich.

Während ich diesen Blog schreibe das nächste Highlight: Schorsch hat uns selbstgebackene Pfefferkuchen nach Grossmutters Art mitgebracht und eben als Überraschung verteilt. LebkuchenLIEBE.

We are not a sailboat but a professional Offshore fisher. Until know we had the following things on our fishing rope: a salad, a seabird, a 3kg fish, a 2kg fish and a plastic bag.

Today is the first advent. To celebrate the day, we had fresh bread (Zopf), pancakes AND an inflatable Advent-decoration. (Adventkranz)

Other culinarian highlights during the last days: Bavarian Sausage with mustard, Spaghetti Bolognese, Maultaschen, Turkey roast, Guacamole, Fennel-Orange Salat, exotic Fruit salads, Broccoli soup and many others.

Lucky us we do not only have amazing cooks and board, but also talented handyman.

Saturday morning a shackle on the guardrail got lost – I hope not everybody is aware that they should not lean on it and that it is strictly forbidden to hook the safety belt in the guard rail.

Saturday at lunch time we took out more than 30 litres of water out of the bilge – does hanging upside down in the bilge count as yoga??

Saturday evening, we noticed that a rope of the mainsail was damaged.

Saturday night we had the next problem; we could not furl the mainsail properly and wind gusts took the sail out again.

Our Skipper Marina showed herself from her most lovely side when in the middle of the night she ran out shouting because or sails where moving around wildly. In that moment she did not know yet that we were just having problems with the mainsail.

Additionally, we realized on Sunday morning that the Genoa sheet was also not in good conditions.

We are a swimming Construction Place – BUT it is getting better every day.

In the same moment I am writing this Blog the next highlight happened. Schorsch brought self-made Gingerbread for the whole crew as a surprise. I love Gingerbread 
