Glory - Glory lagoon 42 log Day 16- cats?

Overall I would say I am happy and even impressed with the Lagoon 42. So far I have had no major issues ( knock on faux wood veneer) and she has handled the seas without issue. She is difficult to hand steer as there is no real feedback at the helm and as I mentioned she is noisy. And the powerful main is of limited use direct downwind as she can’t be be winged out very far before hitting back stays. She does move underfoot quite a bit with her own unique motion ( giving new meaning to the word “catwalk”).
I was surprised at how few cats there are doing the ARC this year versus monohull.
Perhaps it is better to be a small cork floating “in” the ocean rather than a small cork floating “on” the ocean but once I am swinging at anchor in the Carib I’m sure the cat will justify herself.
Note there are 7 Lagoon 42’s doing the ARC this year. POV II and Starsplitter are filled with rogues and vagabonds and should be avoided at all cost!
