Paw Paw - Log Days 283 & 284: Mini-Golf Anyone?

Yesterday, after our last morning coffee at Trader's Café, we said our goodbyes to beautiful Malolo Lailai Island as we set sail for Port Denarau Marina. After taking on diesel and filling our jerry cans on arrival, we were delighted to learn that the Port Denarau Yacht Club had managed to secure our request for one of their mooring balls, where we plan to stay until our departure to New Zealand and outward clearance from Vuda Marina.

Yesterday evening, after collecting our repaired sail, we enjoyed sundowners and a delicious seafood dinner at Lulu's Bar and Restaurant before heading back to Paw Paw for an early night. Although we've seen Do Over and Kiwi Beanz in their slips and lsaw Blue Summit arriving this afternoon, we haven't managed to catch up with them as yet.

This morning we walked to the Hilton Fiji Resort and Spa, where we enjoyed a morning coffee and a snoop around. It seems we left the best for last, as we both felt this was the nicest resort on Denarau Island.

Our next stop was a game of mini-golf, followed by a very tasty lunch at the Creperie Café.

This afternoon was spent working our way through the final preparations for our passage to New Zealand. Roy cooked up a storm in the galley, while Elaine finalised all the marina documentation as well as all the outward and inward bound documentation for Fiji and New Zealand.

Tonight we've decided on a quiet night onboard - Just for a change!
