Emily Morgan - ARC log day 10
After a couple of days motoring with very little wind, we had a lovely day playing with our new asymmetrical spinnaker yesterday. The half way point was passed overnight and we are celebrating with freshly made cake and clean sheets :-)
Today we are back to sailing with our symmetrical spinnaker, making good progress with a following wind and sea. A culinary first was deemed a success as Matt fried up some flying fish for breakfast; the fishing line hasn't caught anything for a couple of days though so it's a good job the freezer is well stocked!
Rachel is studying the stars and my old "ISpy" book of the sky is doing her proud. Declan and Colin are learning how to use a sextant and everyone else is relaxing. Happy days!
