In the early morning while your scribe was asleep, crewman Marc, yesterday’s epistle writer, became a fisherman too and caught a lovely little sashimi destined Mahi Mahi. We cannot wait until dinner when Maryrose will serve it as a light starter. She is keeping the main course a secret for now.

Meanwhile fresh from his exploits with the line, the breeze strength and direction finally being in synch, he and the skipper launched our beautiful blue butterfly! (North Sails “Trade Wind Sail”) This is now wafting us westwards at a rate of knots (which rate we will keep to ourselves for now). It’s a lovely sight, big and blue, flown on our wide bodied craft without a pole, but with some assistance from the boom.
