Yes its 'Groundhog day' woke up in the same place, going in the same direction with the same wind at the same speed, with the same spinnaker up
and the same sun shining from the same position, having the same porridege and coffee for breakfast, with the same 4 people and
the same music on Whats going on?
This is the 6th day of this nonsense, we are doing about 100nm/day instead of 150 - 200!!
its day 14 - and we have been at sea for 13 full days
we were hoping to have sighted land by tomorrow!
instead we are just past the 1/2 way mark and still have 1320 miles to go
we still have plenty of food, but have killed the Whisky, Vodka, Bacardi, Rum, Beer - just got a few bottles of red wine left. and we turned on the watermaker as we were 1/2 way through our water - and instead of making water the machine emptied one of the tanks! so now we have 1/4 left in our tanks - luckily we have another 100L in reserve, so as long as we don't take another 2 weeks then we should be fine!
our weather man tells us we will get the trade winds on monday - so hopefully we only have another 2 days of this shit, then we can get the Spinnaker pulling us at double the speed we have at present - cant wait for the cool beer in St Lucia!
