After days of poor weather with winds gusting up to F7 and driving rain, followed by little or no wind, Blue Dolphin has reached the half way mark. The crew celebrated by having a wild west party. They dressed up as cowboys and Indians and Sally cooked a ‘yee ha’ supper of steak, potato wedges, coleslaw and corn on the cob. They washed it down with a bottle (or two)of wine and then played who am I where they had to guess who the name stuck on their forehead was. The most tricky one were Colin the Cabbage and Jerry the Rigger! Lots of fun was had by all.
The wind continued to blow all day and, having rigged a twin head sail by flying the asymmetric on one side and the headsail on the other, they enjoyed a great sail. (Insert Photo).
More problems for Mike as the generator stopped working!!! I t seems as one problem gets resolved another one arises!! Mile will sleep on it. The crew are confident that he will fix it.
