BRIZO - Anxious to Return!
We've been back in the States for two weeks and are eager to re-join the Rally. The wedding in Maine was a beautiful seaside ceremony, Kathryn and Audrey were junior bridesmaids for their cousin Chelsea and received many compliments about their participation. Corinne and the girls are spending today at school giving a presentation about the Rally so far, showing photos from the trip and telling of their experiences. Lew has been at work trying to get caught-up and has been reasonably successful in doing so.
Our plan is to depart Papeete on Saturday 9 June and rejoin the fleet in Fiji by the end of June. We will stop in Bora Bora and Tonga, unfortunately bypassing Suwarrow and Niue. We have been watching the adverse weather conditions over the past few days and are hopeful that the lows will disperse by the time we transit the area.
