This year is a significant milestone for the famous Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, as the 25th edition of the ARC will set off from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia this November. To help celebrate the occasion, event organisers World Cruising Club are keep to hear from some of those who took part in the historic first rally in 1986, especially from any ARC’86 children.

When Gill’s Atlantic Offshore range was ready for re-development in 2008 they turned to the participants of the ARC for their views on what was needed in offshore clothing. Their designers sent out a detailed questionnaire to the participants with wide ranging questions about colour, style and features.
