Rangiroa is the largest of the atolls in the Tuamotu and also one of the most beautiful. The water always seems to be crystal clear in our anchorage, regardless of the weather.
We have been anchored here, outside the Kia Ora hotel, for a couple of days. The hotel is a good (if a little expensive) venue for carrying on the tradition of the World ARC sunset rendezvous. They have some very nice rooms on stilts, built out over the lagoon. Obviously not quite as exclusive as a berth on Anastasia. 387
