We finnished the ARC at 11 39 30 lokal time, 15 39 30 UIT. Everyone was
satisfied, and happy. The last hours went very slow. The wind was 5 to 10
knots from 090 degrees, so the vessels speed was varying between 1,8 and 5 kn
from 09 30 UIT. It was nice to se other saylyachts coming from the
horizont with all the sails as we vent on to the finishing line.
ARC met us in the marina with music, drinks and fruit, so there were a
little selebration. We continued the selebration a little in the evening,
but went relative early to bed well satisfied.
Again thank you to all that helped us to do this, an a special thanks to
Haakon Rekstad and Elbe fishingequipment. They served us
with all we needed for fishing our own fish during the voyage. We got a
lot of fish; “Goldmakrell” and tunafish. We had fish forlunch, dinner and
eveningmeal – so much that we had to stop fishing for a while to get som other
food
Regards from all us onboard in Angerona;
Haakon, Gjermund, Gro and captain
