Crazy Horse - Jan. 20

Our position is at UTC 1043 22 16.S 00 28.E

We are sailing along today with main all the way up and jib poled out wing and wing. Wind is SSE 14-20. It is a pleasant day with sun and some haze mixed in. Our boat speed is 6-7.5kts.

Bill is up on the bow fixing the hatch yet again trying to figure out why it is leaking once again. When we get home I am sure Crazy H will be getting new hatch treatments. But I must say that Bill is determined to have no leaks. Yesterday while checking the engine the Capt found that there was a leak in the part of the engine which was just fixed. Sufice to say it was not pleasant here on the Crazy. We were crawling under the engine ,opening the hatch in Matt room , and trying to get that hose to stop dripping. Finally , after many expletives from Capt it was deemed fixed. Now I am hearing there is a leak around the shaft seal because of a change of a hose that was made. These are all things we are in constant watch of onboard this boat or perhaps any of the boats in this fleet. We certainly don't want any leaks out here in the middle of the ocean.

So as we make our way out here in the Atlantic we are 513 miles from St. Helena.

Chessie was heard to have lost another fish after a 3 hour fight. Wow! They are determined and Jochem says he will try again today. We have our wash out drying once again after having another round with the Wonder Washer. I am determined to get clean wash from that thing or bust. I might just bust doing it or I might just get fit enough to wear that string bikini yet! Oh sorry! Please erase that image! Well, imagine that on ....one of those models with the liposuction.

Anyway, getting punchy out here. Another day of sun and fun.

Rosemary, Bill and Matt
