We arrived in Las Palmas Saturday two weeks before the start of the 25 th ARC. Since then we spent a busy and informative week in the Puerto Deportivo.
Some shopping tours in the Rolnautic Ship Chandlery and some labor on the boats equippment allowed us to successfully pass the Safety-Check.
Early in the week we went out to test-sail the Spinacker installation and after all of this the boat is now technically ready for the Transat.
The next step is now to add provisions and try to find spots to store them.
Besides the technical preparations we also used the last couple of days for socialising either during the offical ARC events or in the well frequented Sailor's bar.
We were lucky to have really nice pontoon neighbours with whom we exchanged a couple of tips and toasts allready. This usually doesn't help to get enough sleep but definititly improves the fun factor.
