Today was the BIG START. An exciting moment to see 200+ yacht fight to be the first one crossing the starting line on a 2700 nm race. We set our new Parasailor and went down along the coast of the Canary Island making 9-10 knots, topping at 12.5 , and having a very stable ride. The sail exceeded our expectations, judging from the smile of our skipper, who is a seasoned spinnaker sailor.The crew is all happy to leave the dock and be on our way over. Expectations are at top and we will soon be served our first meal at sea.
