We may not win any podium prizes in St. Lucia but the crew of Emerald all feel like Oscar winners for having taken part in the ARC. We each have come a long way from 10 mile long Lake Windermere (one of us in a kayak) to a voyage of some 2880 miles across the Atlantic Ocean.
So in time honoured Oscar tradition we would like to thank the following:

Mums, Dads, Uncle Tony & Auntie Gill & Andrea, you have supported us every mile and we thank you (one Mum, and she knows who she is, had better get reading those emails before her offspring comes home, there should only be about 300!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
Yacht Lyra who came to our aid with supply of pain killers for our poorly 'molar', thank you for waiting for us and helping us in our time of need, much appreciated.
