Incisor of Wight - Log day 4

Hello
Another day on board the big brother boat! Everyone is now settled into a routine and are all getting along well. Our Spinnaker peels and gybes have all been pretty much without fault, as you who have sailed with us before will know!!
Rob our resident sailmaker has had little to do except helm. Bunk surfing has just started which I hope will be OK in future nights. Paul slept in he forepeak yesterday afternoon when we caught a wave it forced the loo window open causing quite a dramatic shower in the heads. Paul thought that the loo had exploded! and checked to see if he was covered in anything!

The Flying fish are out in force which does cause a lot of the chaps to scream like girls when they get hit. The nights, as there is no moon is like sailing up the back end of a cow to coin a nautical phrase.
Derek, Paul and Rob are working hard at on the job training helming of our multinational crew, they reckon that by the time we finish they will be redundant and be sleeping all night and sunbathing all day.
Our meal last night was from the british contingent (Sandra & Dave)bacon, beans and smash, went down well with half the crew, the jury is still out with the other. Pudding was fresh melon which I personally found to be fantastic.
We have decided to buy 2 new wheels for Incisor when we get back to the UK, ours are just about worn out, they have done stead fast work and countless miles and perhaps we will mount them on the wall as a trophy of all Derek's races - or perhaps they will go into the container and I will buy another pot plant instead.
As I write Derek is snoozing to my right and Paul to my left and they are generally chatting in a delirious kind of way, not quite forming full sentences but fully understanding what each other are saying - Men, that's all I can say.

Anyway must sign off, need to put some more sunblock on..

Sandra
