Hi
Had a great day sunbathing yesterday and caught another fish – this one was 2 feet long but only 2” thick (looked like a mix between a pike and a barracuda so big teeth). We did not eat it but decided to use it as dead bait to catch something bigger. Unfortunately nothing bigger came along before we lost the bait.
Wind has increased overnight and we have been making about 8 knots, dropped off today but we are still achieving 6 knots SOG.
We had to wear jackets last night and we ate down below in the cabin – pasta and fresh bread with a glass of red wine.
Gernerally everyone is healthy bar the odd sniffle and sore throat but the sea air and salt water showers seem to be doing the trick…
Rob is being our avid sail man and helmsman ensuring the parasailor is flying well. He is enjoying the trip and we are have great discussions with everyone in the crew as we have a mixed age group with different experiences. Rob and Will have been talking about animals and eating different parts – most of which nobody else wants to eat – whilst we were cooking last night Will just about pushed the limit when he was talking about people eating testicles. – he got the 3am to 6am shift last night.
