Second Wind - Day 4 - Sun and folding propeller

Hi everyone

Overnight we had 2 knots of wind!!! So we motored until the wind picked up again – we are good for diesel supplies and are not back on track for usage for 4 days. More sun and low winds but we are progressing south at approx 4 to 5 knots .

Folding propeller is creating some knocking as its not opening correctly but we kept engine revs at 1800 to reduce wear and tear on the bearing. If we stop completely with no wind we will tie on and investigate, at the moment we are all hoping for a little more wind to carry us faster.

Tony is talking about his impending marriage in St Lucia with great joy and excitement, Dee his wife to be has left him very romantic notes and a nice letter from Ellen McCarther wishing him well on the journey. He is busy topping up his tan and having cold sea water showers off the back of the yacht every day.

All are well on board and enjoying the time

Love to all, Martin
