Today we concluded the first week of our crossing and also completed the first 1000 miles. Reasons enough to celebrate this beautiful Sunday with dancing, self-baked bread for breakfast and a perfect medium fried steak for dinner!
Celebrating the day with us was a group of dolphins who visited and performed cool stunts for us. And towards this afternoon, trade winds finally picked up. After a few days of slow sailing, we are making some decent speed again! We are now almost on direct course towards Saint Lucia and we can see the remaining distance dropping on our plotter. Feels good!
