Dawn brought a flurry of activity amongst the WARC fleet anchored off Isla Contadora. Last bits of laundry fluttered in the soft breeze, dinghies came on deck or were secured in davits. Lines were run, mains rolled out and in again, light air sails queued up on foredecks, ready to be deployed at the start line. Finally it was 11:00, and we were off! Such a beautiful sight seeing so many colourful down wind sails pulling the vessels along. Radio reports revealed pods of dolphins and several whales cavorting in between the boats, while elsewhere, fish leapt at the lures and became delicious dinners. The wind filled in quite nicely and we enjoyed a really beautiful day in the water for the start of the third leg of our journey on Sweet Dream.
