Notwithstanding the ongoing depression at having lost the fishing rod,we have had a beautiful sunny day sailing in favourable winds,which appear to be improving all the time.
Quite a busy make-and-mend morning spent repairing and drying sails,servicing the outboard ,rigging the hammock etc, which was followed by our first foray into kite-land since last Thursday.With a bit of luck, and if the forecast holds, this could well be us to the finish line.
We are now officially over half way, and unfortunately Michael missed the revised order that it's thongs at the finish, not half way. Every cloud has a silver lining, however, as having had a dry run, he now has a week to work out how he is going to accommodate his other testicle, as accommodate he must !
Kite staying up all night , so stand by for fun and games.........................
