Heavy cloud over the mountains of Gran Canaria gave the hint of building clouds in the next day or two, but 12 to 15 knots of breeze from the North East, a slight swell and clear skies were luring us out to sea. With a full crew of twelve on board, we. read more...

End of Day 4.Log number 5. Location, 300 miles West of  Nouadhibou, Mauretania At least this time I can sort of tell you where we are. Right children, out with your Atlas, or perhaps now every three year old uses Google? Probably. Anyway then, out with your Google and have a look at the west coast of Africa. Find the Canary Islands and then travel south and you should come across Mauretania, and hopefully the well known port of Nouadhibou. Well I think it's a port, perhaps someone can tell us?
