Profile - last full 24 hours at sea

Well this is are last full 24 hours at sea , words can't explain the emotions excitement and achievement of what we all have achieved especially me personally. As stated before I can't praise the professionalism of sailing logic as a company, skipper and mate for there patients of which must of worn thin at times but they never lost there cool !!! amazing people . I personally have had time to reflect on my life so far and make new decisions on my life carrying forward ,so yacht master here i come but before that its defiantly Caribbean 600 oh and Antigua too . So now I'm ready to step on land go and meet some new people and exchange tales of the high sea . I will most defiantly miss stroking Olli and Tim's beards as they will be meeting they other halves but they have asked me one last. read more...

2 weeks down and getting closer....under 400 miles to go if we can keep thecrazy Russian following a bearing    The last 24 hours has seen some learning curves for all us crew. Afterbobbing up and down in a wind hole for what seemed like weeks the clouds loomeddark and ominous ahead of us and the Green watch took to the decks for a nicepower shower, with cool as hell Tim at the helm with his cuppa, whilst everyonebraved the storm.   After a good soaking of the main galley and little dry clothing left, Ollieappeared in his baywatch shorts to wolf whistles and much joy.  From actionman to lifeguard babe and much reddening of the face.   The wake up call came for the Beautiful Watch to decant from bunks postdeciding to wrap the spinnaker around and around and. read more...

Today’s breaking headlines: Profile and her crew continue to destroy/damage key sailing items. Despitetheir strong progress in the race, the elite skipper, first mate and crew ofrenowned Profile continue to have their troubles. To add to the two brokenpreventers, the twice ripped kite, the lost kitchen plug, the light that shortedand set fire in the bathroom, the small fire in the kitchen, the multipledead/mortally wounded toy soldiers from the battle of the chart table, theprimary kitchen cleaning utensil launching itself into the sea, the guy snappingout of the pole, the seaweed around the rudder..... yesterday the flyingDutchman lost a bucket. Profile - half way party blog

The two sides continue the battles. Green Watch vs Dirty Watch. WhilstGreen continue a valiant and just battle to ensure an honourable and rewardingpassage, Dirty’s subversive tactics are antagonising the battle for justice,sabotaging key boat equipment prior to Green appearing for watch,claiming creditfor all food delivery efforts, and generating fictitious speed records(2,000,000 knots was the last reported fastest surf). i cant believe it green watch are trying to sabotage best watch ive foundout forest has been putting a secret cat in my cabin of which im very allergicand then they blew the flipping kite so everyone had to get up so everyone hashad sleep deprivation apart from green watch (dirty tactics) !!!i would like to say a massive thank you for skipper and mate as they stayedup all night repairing the kite and how very proffesional they where dealingwith the situation even if they looked like a couple of seamstresses very sweet. green watch have done some great food last night and today which hasreleased me from cooking duties so i would like to show my appreciation to them. if anyone out there can get hold of suzzane on lancelot to ask here if shecan heel my eye for me that would be great. read more...
