We have been sailing for 3 days toward Australia - as of 4pm we have 545 miles to go to the finish line, then another 100 miles to go inside the reef to Mackay.
We have had good wind so far, only ran the engine for a few hours. We flew the spinnaker for one whole day but since then the wind has been too far forward for the chute.
Sam has finished her 3rd grade work and now both girls are working on a summer activity book to keep in the swing of things. I've read a few novels and Lee is making progress on his magazine pile.
Speaking of magazines that's something I'm really looking forward to in Australia. We haven't seen any magazines since Tahiti and I refused to spend $26 for a single copy of a magazine!
