Crazy Horse - March 3

We made it in to Cabanga Yacht Club at 0300 yesterday. Paul and Suzana and their crew from the club were there to greet us and properly get us to the dock. Every time we think we know how we will berth us there is another way of getting secured to the dock. We are next to Voyaguer , tied to them with a bow line to the dock, and an aft line tied to a mooring line behind us. We have certainly had to adapt to different ways of docking during this trip. But we are safe at the dock though somewhat aground at low tides. This is a very shallow area and we had to wait until hi high tide  to get in here. It is a couple of miles after reaching the breakwater and then slowly making ones way through some red and green sticks set up in the marsh.

But once we went ashore we were greeted with our "gifts" of bags, shirts, and sandals. They were very nice from the tourism office to give us those items. Their pool is really lovely and that is the first and only place we have visited so far. There we met up with many of the other members of the fleet. Today we will go on the tour of the city with a guide. The others did it yesterday and Chessie, Crazy Horse, Basia, and perhaps OJ will do it today. We are looking forward to see the city and the preparations they are making for carnival. More on our tour later.

Now off to get the laundry done and all the other jobs ahead.
