As we are now on our way to Christmas Island then Cocos we reflect on our days in Bali. What an incredible and extremely busy place, we have never seen so many motorbikes and scooters with over 3 million, carrying entire families of 4 to 5 (children without crash helmets) or long Bamboo poles or entire shop contents. All seems chaos as no road signs or rules!! The other side of Bali is tranquillity, miles of rice fields being worked by hand, and Temples in all directions. Needless to say none of this stopped the ARC fleet from partying, and we had some wonderful food and saw exquisite dancing. 24 of us went on a 4 day tour and stayed in the most fantastic hotel in a calm valley high up in the hills, each villa with its own infinity pool, plus the biggest bathroom you ever saw. We all thought we had died and gone to heaven. The weather has been extremely hot so we are now pleased to be back at sea, onwards and upwards.
