Cleone arrived in Bali at 0610 Bali time, or 2210 GMT
The last day and night was almost non-stop motoring. The wind would get up a little bit, and we would fly the sails, only for it to drop again. And what wind there was was right behind us, which made for very slow sailing. But we managed to time our traverse of the very strong currents flowing southwards through the straits between Bali and Lambok, and we arrived at the Fairway Marker into Bali Harbour just as dawn was breaking. And the icing on this particular cake was to see the great Branec astern of us as we made our way up into the harbour!
We were soon alongside in the small but very friendly marina, and greeting all our friends from the fleet. It's great to be here, and great to see them all again.
We are off with Norfy's Tours tomorrow, then some work on the boat before we cruise to Cocos Keeling. I will keep you informed of progress.
