Another gorgeous day of sailing! We finally got comfortably enough South to start heading back West again; that feels good 👍
At 1pm today we recorded a 24 hour distance of 191nm for a total distance so far of 554nm.
We were fully expecting to see fellow rally boats on day 1 and the last day, and not much in between, however this has been far from the case! Earlier today we were one a group of 8 boats all with about a 10 mile radius... Didn't expect to be fighting for elbow room after sailing over 500nm!
We also ran our watermaker today for the first time this passage, and am happy to report: no surprises. As is often the case, the watermaker is accompanied by the washing machine, but this was another first for us: Laundry on passage! 🧺
