We had a visit today from Yachting Monthly so we all put our best tops on for a photo opportunity. Jon gave the journalist a potted history of our yacht so we may get our 15 mins of fame next month.
Fiona and I went off shopping while the rest were very busy with numerous jobs. Trying to estimate are dietary requirements for 20-25 days was a bit of a headache. We were told that for a crew of 5 we wouldn’t get much change from £1000. That is without any alcohol! We will have a dry boat for the crossing. I can feel the withdrawal symptoms starting already, which are being alleviated a little as we are having to consume our stock while we are in port.
