Alessandra and Francesca became friends thanks to Tilda, when they first met for her delivery in 2017, doing the leg from Lisbon to Palma de Mallorca.
Ale comes from Florence and started sailing every corner of the Tyrrhenian Sea with her sister when they were kids. Francy was born and raised in Trieste as a real “Barcolana girl”, enjoing both regattas and cruises in the Adriatic Sea.
This is the first ARC for them, a dream that comes true after many miles sailed with different yachts, crew mates and conditions.
They prepared every detail, from safety to… party outfits!
Ale is a psycotherapist in a hospital and she’ll be the “doctor on board” for our body and soul (very appreciated Tuscan humour). Francy is an innovation manager, so let’s see if she will contribute to optimize the process of shifts, the organization of the galley or any browsing activity.
