We are almost there. Around 12:30 we saw the island of Santo Antao rising out of the water. What a beautiful sight!

We motored through the night and around 10 o’clock we could hoist the sails again. We can see a lot of boats around us. We just put away our jib and boom and are sailing the last miles only with the main. It’s wonderful out here. Such a beautiful day.

Merel is sowing the courtesy flag of Cape Verde and Elvira has been cleaning the boat.

Just 7 miles to go! We are excited to arrive and are looking back at a splendid journey.
