Wow what a day, we are all back to our boats pretty tired after an incredible morning planting trees at the ‘ARC Forest’ – a collaboration between ARC and Foresta over the past 12 years. Rally crews volunteer and head to the hills to plant baby trees and help contribute to the re-foresting of this part of Gran Canaria.
We had a coach full of rally participants set off from the marina and drive 30 minutes up into the hills above Las Palmas. After some guidance from the team we were soon off planting our baby trees and by the time lunch rolled around we had planted over 200 trees! Great fun, very rewarding and thank you to all the team at Foresta.
