After a very rolly night at anchor we awoke to a pleasantly windy day. Lars, Dave, and Karen took a land tour to see giant tortoises and crawl through lava tunnels. I organised the rubbish for pick up, did some tidying up on the boat, and after three days of rain, finally accomplished some of the laundry, and enjoyed watching the big sea turtles surfacing between our boat and Nica. In the afternoon we saw a boat go by with Park City, Utah as its home port! In all our years of sailing it is the only other vessel we have seen that shares our home port. In the cool of the evening we walked through town, did a bit of souvenir shopping, ate a delicious meal at Bahia del Mar, and enjoyed the live music and traditional dancing in the square. When we grew weary of slapping at, and stepping on giant flying beetles and mosquitos we headed back to our Sweet Dream, where the live music serenaded us til the wee hours of the morning.
