We got underway early this morning at about 06:30. We wanted to have plenty of time to get where we were going and have time to look around or enjoy happy hour. The wind was light so we motored most all day. We arrived in the mid afternoon at Upstart Bay. We anchored on the outer aspect of the bay. We had noticed another boat come in ahead of us. We came close by to ask them about the anchorage. They were nice friendly people who were easy to talk to so we invited them over for happy hour. As usual they were very interesting people who have been retired for about 9 years and have sailed around Australia about 2 1/2 times in total over the years. We spent 2 days in the Whitsunday Islands while they just spent 6 weeks. They know how to do it right. They had a neat name for their boat. The wife was Faye. The boat was Fayezy like Faye and lazy We have crew from Lexington onboard. Tom and Fran joined us in Mackay. I will attach their photo that I took today. May fair winds fill your sails with calm anchorages filled with good sleep! Bob
