The passage from Rügen to Las Palmas is not without problems. Due to the fact that we did not leave until 8.10., we encountered heavy storms on the route from Breege to Gijon. This prevents us from reaching Las Palmas as planned on 11 November. In Den Helder, Cherbourg and Camaret sur Mer we had to weather several days. The crew was only partially suitable for these routes. In addition, there were problems with one of the 12 life jackets. A brand new one with AIS Mob still packed in triggered an MOB alarm. The SAR of the French and the Spanish were in active radio contact with us and asked if everything was OK. We had to check all the life jackets, and as it happens, it's always the last one that causes problems. The lock on the AIS MOB had come loose... The heavy swell also broke the mirrow in the wet room, and we got a lot of water in the bilge. All fixed now! My great ARC crew will be in LPA before me and will prepare a lot. The next stage will be Gijon to Coruna, where we will stock up on diesel and food and then continue to LPA as quickly as possible! ETAT probably on 16.11.

Die Ueberführung ab Rügen bis Las Palmas ist nicht ganz ohne Probleme. Durch dass man erst am 8.10. losfuhr, kamen wir auf der Strecke Breege bis Gijon in schwere Stürme. Dies hindert uns am Plan Las Palmas wie geplant am 11.11. zu erreichen. In Den Helder, Cherbourg und Camaret sur Mer mussten wir mehrere Tage abwettern. Die Crew war für diese Strecken nur bedingt geeignet. Ausserdem gab es Probleme mit einer der 12 Rettungswesten. Eine nagelneue mit AIS Mob noch eingepackt, löste ein MOB Alarm aus. Der SAR der Franzosen und der Spanier standen in regem Funkkontakt mit uns und fragten, ob alles okay sei. Wir mussten alle Westen kontrollieren, und wie es so ist, es ist immer die letzte, die Probleme machte. Bei der AIS MOB hatte sich die Verriegelung gelöst... Durch den schweren Seegang brach auch der Spiegel in der Nasszelle, und wir bekamen viel Wasser In die Bilge. Jetzt alles behoben! Meine tolle ARC Crew wird vor mir in LPA sein und vieles vorbereiten. Nächste Etappe wird nun Gijon bis Coruna sein, dort Diesel und Verpflegung bunkern und dann schnellstens weiter nach LPA! ETAT voraussichtlich am 16.11.
