Mike caught a fish! After 5 nibbles he finally landed his 1st fish – and she was a beauty. In the water she looked an iridescent purple and yellow but once out she was a fairly dull grey. Once landed Kathy poured vodka down her gills and she died almost immediately, without any obvious signs of discomfort. Kathy then got about the task of gutting her. She was scarily proficient at wielding the knife. Once cleaned she was passed to Carol to prepare for supper. Tonight’s curry could wait - fresh barbecued fish was now the plate de jour. There was plenty for 4 and it was delicious!
It was a good day for Mike as he fixed the water maker. (Air in the system). Showers were enjoyed by all.
Still no wind – grrrrrr. Progress was slow again and the engine was used most of the day. Where are the Trades????
